Cups and bowls cushion
I adapted a cross stitch design from “De fil en aiguille” Hors-Serie, Campagne to make this cushion. I loved the designs of the cups and bowls. The embroidered panel was set into a purchased cushion cover.

Christmas tree decoration made from hand made felt, decorated with sequins.
Gingerbread men made from purchased felt. Waistcoats made from Christmas print cotton fabric. Height about 12cm.
Birds made from hand made felt. I made the felt on a textile course at Quarry Bank Mill, which is a National Trust property at Styal, Cheshire. The birds were decorated with beads and embroidery. size about 10cm The tail feathers were decorated with glass beads and embroidery.
Christmas birds made from Christmas prints or calico, cinnamon sticks or Star Anise used for the claws, decorated with ribbons and small bells or purchased tinplate hearts. size, between 10 and 12cm.
Design from “De fil en aiguille”, Hors Series, Fleurs, French cross stitich magazine. The emboidery was inset into a purchased cushion cover. embroidery design size approx. 33cm X 33cm. Stitched on 14ct white Aida using DMC threads.
